Stories and highlights

LPAF

Each year, our students take part in the Performing Arts Festival through a group performance. It is a wonderful opportunity to come together, share their creativity and enjoy the experience of performing as a team.

Peer Support

Our Peer Support program provides students with opportunities to connect, support one another and build positive relationships across the school. It encourages teamwork, confidence and a strong sense of belonging within our school community.

Bottle Rocket Competition

Our students took part in the Bottle Rocket Competition, putting their science, creativity and teamwork to the test. It was a fun and exciting opportunity to design, build and launch their own rockets.

Harmony Day

We celebrate Harmony Day where students dress in orange and the community supplies a lovely food spread for all to enjoy.

Cross Country

Our annual School Cross Country is held on the school grounds. Students participate enthusiastically across all year levels, showing great effort and sportsmanship.

SRC

Our SRC are always involved in doing something for our school from pizza days, hot dog days, cake stalls which is enjoyed by all staff and students. Its a great way to bring us all together in the busy life of Modanville Public School and raising funds to purchase goods for our school.

MPS Athletics Carnival

Modanville Athletics is a fun and exciting day where students can participate in a range of track and field events, cheer on their peers, and enjoy being part of the school community.

Alice The Musical

Our school musical was a wonderful celebration of music, performance and creativity, bringing students and staff together to create a memorable production. The hard work and dedication that went into bringing the musical to life was truly impressive.

Sporting events

Every time you turn around Modanville Public School is involved in array of sporting events. We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase our own sport jerseys this year and don't the students look great. Our small school excel in many sporting activities from netball to soccer and zoned carnivals.

Book Week

Each year, we celebrate Book Week with a fun-filled celebration of books, reading and imagination. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, dress up and celebrate our love of stories.

Naidoc Week

Each year, we celebrate NAIDOC Week as a school community, recognising and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, history and achievements. It is a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn, connect and celebrate together.

Easter Hat Parade

The Easter Hat Parade is filled with colour and excitement every year, with students proudly parading their handmade hats as families join in to watch and celebrate.

Swimming Carnival

At Modanville Public School we combine with other smaller schools to participate in our annual swimming carnival every year. It is a fun filled day out for all involved.
